Clementina Marsico

Clementina Marsico is research fellow at the University of Florence, where she obtained her PhD in Civiltà dell’Umanesimo e del Rinascimento. She previously held research fellowships at the Warburg Institute in London and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies in Innsbruck. Her research interests concern Italian humanism, classical receptions, history of education and grammatical studies, as well as humanist preaching. She published critical editions of Lorenzo Valla’s Emendationes ex Alexandro and Sermo the mysterio eucharistie, as well as studies on Valla’s Elegantie lingue Latine.
