Outi Merisalo, Professor of Romance Philology at the University of Jyväskylä, has published extensively on Old French documents, Old and Middle French translations from Latin, Italian Renaissance texts and book history, Scandinavian book history from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century as well as medical manuscripts of the Late Middle Ages. Currently she is the PI of the library historical project Lamemoli, funded by the Academy of Finland at the University of Jyväskylä (2017-22).
