Fabrizio Lollini is Associate Professor of Medieval Art History at the University of Bologna. After earning a degree in Classics and a postgraduate program in Art History, he completed a PhD in Art History and Criticism. He has taught courses in Italy (Ravenna, Venice) and abroad (Paris, Tours, Carlisle, and Myanmar). He has curated major exhibitions and international conferences, and serves on the scientific committees of the journals Engramma and Sibrium. He is the author of approximately 200 publications, with a particular focus on book decoration and painting from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century, on intercultural artistic exchanges between Western and Eastern traditions in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and on the relationship between art and food.
