Carlo Delcorno

Carlo Delcorno studied Italian Philology at the Università Cattolica in Milan, and Romance Philology and Medieval Latin at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. From 1962 to 2010 he was Professor of Italian Literature in Parma and Bologna. He is a member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei (Rome) and honorary member of the Instituto de Estudios Medievales y Renacentistas (Salamanca). His research mainly focuses on medieval preaching, exempla, monastic hagiography, Boccaccio and Dante.
