Gian Mario Anselmi is an Emeritus Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Bologna. His research spans various aspects of literary culture, including Humanism and the Renaissance, Machiavelli, Guicciardini, Tasso, the Enlightenment, and the relationship between literature and new media. He serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals and has authored hundreds of publications.
